Family Fun Day!

As is our tradition, we will host a Family Fun Day again for Bondholders! We will be combining it with an end of season celebration. On Monday September 6th, Labor Day, we will be having our party from 12-3pm. Unlimited pizzas will be served!! Bring your own drinks and please bring a salad or dessert to share!

We’ve rented a DOUBLE water slide for added fun, plus we have our own toddler moon bounce for the little ones! Please RSVP via email with how many are attending and what food item you will be bringing. Snack Shack items half price that day!

Due to poor weather the pool is closed today, Sunday August 22, 2010.

THE BOARD WISHES TO APOLOGIZE FOR FOR CLOSING THE POOL FOR THE DAY. THE WEATHER CHANNEL WEBSITE SAID THERE WAS AN 80% CHANCE OF RAIN W/SEVERE STORMS EXPECTED T/O THE DAY WHEN WE CHECKED THIS MORNING. APPARENTLY IT ALL BLEW OVER AND CLEARED UP! WE WERE UNSUCCESSFUL WITH RECALLING STAFF TO COVER THEIR SHIFTS.  SORRY FOR THE INCONVENIENCE!

The Pool will be closed this morning [Wednesday, August 18th] due to weather. We will re-evaluate for the afternoon and post a notice again. Any questions, please email the Club. THE POOL WILL REMAIN CLOSED ALL DAY DUE TO RAIN.

CRAB FEAST!!

Our second Annual CRAB FEAST is set for Saturday, July 31st 8p-11p.

RSVP now to secure a spot! Either email the Club or call 838-9530. Last year was so much fun even with the downpour we had! Don’t miss out. This event is open to both our Bondholders and our Annual members….guests are welcome to attend as well. Make this a traditional event with your friends!
 
Cost is $35 a head. This is a BYOB event, alcohol is permitted but no one under the age of 21 is allowed to attend. NO GLASS bottles allowed, we don’t need broken glass cutting our feet or our children the following day.
 
The Board will supply other food items so you don’t have to be a crab fan to attend. Additional items are welcomed of course, so feel free to bring something if you wish.
 
RSVP is a must so we can estimate how many bushels to buy. We will accept RSVPs up til July 28th, no later; thats when we finalize our order. No one will be admitted without prior reservation/payment. Payments can be dropped off at pool’s office. Please mark envelopes: Crab Feast c/o Julie Rickansrud.

“No Fly Zone”

Board has instituted a ‘No Fly Zone’….

Due to high winds we continue to lose umbrellas. They are either lifted out of their stands and over the fence or they knock over the tables and break. We incur a huge expense to keep replacing them. To minimize our loss we have instituted a No Fly Zone for umbrellas on windy days. Managers will make the call on any given day when conditions warrant it and all umbrellas will be taken down. We are also asking that members NOT crank the umbrellas open tight, but to leave them slightly loose so the winds will not pick them up.

Members are welcome to bring their own umbrellas if they wish shade on these days. As with all up to the minute information, join our Twitter account and stay in touch with the latest happenings like premature closings due to weather or contaminations.
